Are your products exposed to allergens?
We work from out home which is smoke free, but we enjoy a pet friendly homesteading lifestyle in a rural farming community. We strive to keep all our merchandise free of pet allergens but we cannot guarantee that our products will not be exposed to our menagerie: cats, dogs, chicken, ducks, geese, goats, and a grumpy old Conure named Taz.
Do you accept International orders?
Not at this time.
How do you ship orders to residents of Alaska & Hawaii?
We only use standard “ground” delivery. Please be patient, as this type of shipment can take up to 2 weeks.
What are your shipping costs?

Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover cards.
What if I want to order more than one of an item?
Almost all of our products are one-of-a-kind items. If you would like another of an item, please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, as occasionally, we can create a similar item.
What if I want to order a piece of jewelry and want it longer or shorter?
Occasionally, depending on the design of the item, we can make adjustments to the length. Please contact us by email at email@example.com with the name of the item and what changes you would like us to consider making. Depending on the changes you request, there could be a nominal fee.
Can I use a coupon toward payment?
Yes, you can. During your checkout, you may enter in your coupon code. The dollar amount is already stored in our files and will be automatically calculated.
Why am I billed for shipping on an exchange order?
As a courtesy, we do not charge shipping on items exchanged due to defects, or errors on our part. Should you not like an item after purchasing and wish to exchange this item for another, this constitutes a new order and you will be charged for the shipping.
How do I return a gift?
Returning gifts are simple and we are discreet in how we handle them. If you receive a gift that you are unhappy with, we will give you a credit towards other items from our website. Please follow the return information listed below and note on your order paperwork that the item was a gift.
Package the item securely and include the packing slip received with your order, if you have it. We recommend you use a form of traceable delivery and insure your package for your protection. Please indicate the reason for the return and your current address and phone number. This will ensure an accurate exchange.
How do I return an item?
Please indicate your reason for returning the item(s) on the packing slip you received with your purchase.
Package the item(s) and the packing slip securely and affix a return label using the address from your invoice/packing slip to the package. Please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or over the phone at 1-530-674-3534 for assistance in returning items.
The purchase price of the merchandise will be credited back to your original method of payment. In the case of an exchange, a new charge will be issued to your account for the replacement item(s).
We recommend you use a form of traceable delivery and insure your package for your protection. Please do not send the package C.O.D. as we do not accept returns shipped C.O.D. Credit card refunds will be reflected on your billing statement within 1 billing cycle.

Why am I billed for my exchange order/
When an item is returned to us, we process a refund for that return. If a new item is ordered in its place, we bill for that item at the time it is shipped. This helps us keep clear records of any transactions on your credit card history.
How long do I have to return an item?
You may return an item for an exchange or a refund. These items must be returned within 30 days of the original purchase date.
How long will it take to get a credit?
The returns process may take several days from the time we receive your package in order for it be opened, inspected and processed. Your refund should appear within one credit card billing cycle.

How we use information
Our site uses an order form allowing you to request information, products and services. Contact information (email address, telephone number, address, etc.) is also used to get in touch with you when necessary. Financial information (credit card number, credit card expiration date, billing address, etc.) is only used to bill you for products and services purchased at The Rusty Knight. We do not store credit card information.
We may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our web site. The Rusty Knight does not use any type of pop-up advertising on our web site. Our true feelings about this ugly advertising is that each of us should have the choice whether or not we want to view what is offered.
We are not responsible for typographical errors. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. We are a 100% direct marketing company and have no sales showroom. Any letters, photographs or products sent to The Rusty Knight become our property unless specifically stated otherwise in writing. We reserve the right to publish any such materials.
