This sweet white vintage batiste sundress from the 1930’s was handmade in Philippines. It has a dainty white stain stitched scallop neckline, arm holes and hem. A full skirt is gathered to a plain yoke top and the bottom of the skirt has a nice ruffle. Just above the ruffle are decorative lace appliqué that from a v shaped basket pointing toward the hem. Captured in the basket are a spray of white embroidered leaves and a pale pink Brazilian embroidered rose. The dress buttons on one shoulder with a tiny white button. It has a label that reads “Hand Made in the Philippines”. This is such a cute sundress for summer. The piece has been hand washed in non-toxic natural soap and lightly touched up with a warm iron. It is probably a 3 month.
Condition: It is in excellent condition.
