Vintage Baby Lace Trimmed Dress

Product Description

This beautiful white batiste baby dress from the 1930’s has a cute little dainty lace trimmed collar with embroidered white leaves and a center pink French knot rose.  Three little white French knots circle around the collar on each side.  There is matching lace that forms a V on the front of the dress with dainty embroidery above of a spray of white leaves with a pink French knot rose in each and a splatter of white French knots.  Two tiny white buttons are just below the center of the collar and one small pin tuck to each side of the buttons. Just above the wide hem is a matching spray of leaves with a pink French knot rose and white French knots. The shoulders each have a single pin tuck and the sleeves are puffed and finished with a cuff. The back-placket buttons with two buttons to a pleat at the waist. The dress has a label that reads “Hand Made in the Philippines”.  This piece has been hand washed in non-toxic natural soap and lightly touched up with a warm iron. It is probably a size 24 month.

Condition: It is in excellent vintage condition.

Measurements:  Shoulders – 9″ (seam to seam); Chest – 11 1/2″ (flat underarm to underarm); Length – 14″ (top of shoulders to bottom)
