Vintage Chinese Miniature Musical Instrument Shadow Box

Product Description

Here is a vintage miniature of a Chyn – Chyn  dynasty string instrument  in a shadow box. This piece is in very good condition no parts are missing and that includes the instruments strings! It is vintage (1970’s) and is a 5 3/8 inch by 7 7/8 inch wood frame. These shadow boxes are designed with no glass on the front of the frame. There is a small area on the inside light colored area of the frame where there is a spot were the stain and varnish are worn.

Please remember this is a retro or vintage piece.  Most are used and will show some signs of “normal wear” that comes with age.  We are very careful not to destroy any patina that may have formed as we think it adds to the beauty of these pieces. Of course you may want to polish or clean off the patina, and that is totally up to you. As we describe each piece if we find any flaws or defects we will point them out in the description. If we have replaced any parts or made other repairs, we will also note these in the description.
