Product Description
Though not an ancient symbol, the arrows of eight featured in the pendant in this Viking style necklace was created for the Elric Of Melnibone series by Michael Moorcock. Of the design he said, ” I drew a straightforward geographical quadrant (which often has arrows, too!) – N, S, E, W – and then added another four directions and that was that – eight arrows representing all possibilities, one arrow representing the single, certain road of Law.”
This symbol is perfect for the Norsemen of old and the chaos they created where ever their raiding parties would land! This necklace features rusts and reds in faceted carnelians, large agates and carnelian rounds, flat squares of pink opalite and round disks of white, iridescent moonstone opalite as well as clear quartz crystals. Opalite is a beautiful manmade crystal. It is sometimes called opal or may be also called moonstone opalite due to its luster and similarity in look to actual moonstone. A travelers necklace, no matter which way you go, by ancient lore, the stones will guide and protect you in even the darkest of nights! Chaos is 20 1/2 inches in total length.
