Clear rhinestones in a floral pattern, and signed Coro on the back this piece is approximately 1½ inches across and is simple yet elegant. In 1901 Emanuel Cohn and Carl Rosenberger opened a small accessories store on Broadway in New York City. In 1943 these two men created their own jewelry design company and called it Coro. They took the first two initials of each mans last name and thus Coro was born. This vintage rhinestone broach is from the 1950’s and was very popular.
Please remember this is a piece of vintage jewelry and most of it is used and will show some signs of “normal wear” that comes with age. We are very careful not to destroy any patina that may have formed as we think it adds to the beauty of these pieces. Of course you may want to polish or clean off the patina, and that is totally up to you. As we describe each piece if we find any flaws or defects we will point them out in the description. If we have replaced clasps or made other repairs, we will also note these in the description.
