Such a pretty little sundress for summer fun. This pale pink vintage batiste sundress from the 1940’s was made in the Philippines. It has a white satin stitched scallop neckline, arm holes and hem ruffle and a full skirt that’s gathered to a plain yoke top. The bottom of the skirt has a nice, full ruffle. On the center front of the skirt are two decorative white lace insets forming an inverted V. Sprinkled around the lace inserts are little lazy daisy and French knot embroidered flowers. The dress buttons on one shoulder with two tiny white buttons. The label reads “Made in the Philippines”. The piece has been hand washed in non-toxic natural soap and lightly touched up with a warm iron. It is probably a 6 month.
Condition: It is in very good condition.
Measurements: Shoulders – 7 1/2″ (seam to seam); Chest – 11″ (flat underarm to underarm); Length – 13 1/2″(top of shoulders to bottom)
