This cute white vintage batiste baby’s sundress from the 1930’s was handmade in Philippines. It has a white satin stitched scallop neckline, arm holes and hem ruffle with a full skirt.

This cute white vintage batiste baby’s sundress from the 1930’s was handmade in Philippines. It has a white satin stitched scallop neckline, arm holes and hem ruffle. A full skirt is gathered to a plain yoke top. The bottom of the skirt has a nice ruffle that is also gathered on the skirt. Just above the ruffle are three decorative lace bar appliqué and interspersed with two sprays of pale pink Brazilian embroidered roses and white leaves. The dress buttons on one shoulder with a tiny white button. The dress has a label that reads “Hand Made in the Philippines”. This is a beautiful sundress perfect for any summer outing. This piece has been hand washed in non-toxic natural soap and lightly touched up with a warm iron. It is probably a size 3 month.
Condition: It is in very good condition. There is a very tiny dark pin spot on the back of the dress at the bottom of the scalloped hem – unnoticeable.
Measurements: Shoulders – 7″ (seam to seam); Chest – 9 1/2″ (flat underarm to underarm); Length – 12 1/2″ (top of shoulders to bottom)
